I know what I like and I like like what I know

Saw Genesis concert last night. They are still some of the best musicians  ever.

Monkey Business

Good Lord!

I wish someone would upkeep me with 6,400 dollars a month. Just think, no clothes to worry about, I could make PHHHT noises all day, throw poop at the wall and everyone would think it's cute.

Just Wondering

When China has a bad day(or week or two) in the free wheeling American market does North Korea and Zimbabwe pay for it?

I suppose everyone gets something they want.

Hmmm

I wrote this in July of 2001. I had just gotten back from Ullapool, Scotland. I think it came from late night conversations I had with a socialist Scottish hotel owner and an conservative Irish heart surgeon. They were under the impression that I was an American history professor.

SACRED COW(Protest Song)

By David McKinnis(7/23/2001)

Several thousand people gathered into the streets

The champagne socialists are chanting slogans of the week

What’s wrong with this picture?

I’d like to know

Several hundred people choked on saren gas today

The Aum Shinrikyo was just insuring Judgement Day

What’s wrong with this picture?

We’d all like to know

Now you just can’t tell me everything’s alright

These folks got nothing better than to dream and scheme all night

They are here!

They are now!

They’d gore your sacred cow

And we’ll just sit and watch them on our T.V. safe and sound

Today a single person helped a person in need

On this the Fourth Estate was silent since no one died in the deed

It's paltry poetry but it still bugs me that it came out of my head just before everything changed.

That's me?

Just filled out the Profile.

It always seems strange when I sit back and try to explain who I am. At a glance I seem more and less than the words can describe. It also seems like the Web version of an AA meeting, except no one replies until you say something outrageously smart or stupid.

Hmm,... what does this button do!

Is this thing on?

Steven Den Beste says that there's only Linkers and Thinkers inhabiting the blogosphere. I'm not sure that's true. I've noted Displayers and Relayers are two more species.

Not sure which I am yet.
